Cut the butter into small pieces and freeze. Mix all the dry ingredients evenly with an egg or chopsticks, add frozen butter, and rub it into a sandy shape with your hands

Mix butter and flour
mix them altogether nicely

Add spices and mix well.

The mixed liquid is added to the flour, and a small part is reserved for brushing the surface.

Gently knead the dough with your fingers to form a ball. Be careful not to knead and press the dough as it will affect the fluffiness.

Use a scraper to help shape the dough, flatten it gently, cut it in half, stack the two pieces of dough, flatten it again, cut it in half, repeat the whole process three times, and finally arrange it into a rectangle, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for one hour.

Once frozen, preheat oven to 360°F.

Cut the dough into pieces with a knife or use a mold, brush the reserved liquid on the surface, be careful not to brush the cut surface.

360 degrees Fahrenheit, bake for 20 minutes.
