Passion for food and its culture is an intense feeling. Traveling is a must for those that are able. These are the reasons for my dive into this world of culinary fusion. After college, I made sure I would not sit inside another classroom again, and thus went off to travel in a few counties, mainly in China, Hong Kong, and Dubai. Filled to the brim with the plethora of environments, ways of loving, and especially the food from many of the Muslim population places like China and Taiwan. I had no idea such jewels of dishes were hidden. The middle eastern dishes I see here in the states are just a small pantry off the plethora of dishes in Kuwait, Qatar, and Dubai. Just like how we perceive Asians with Asia, even though we have Indians, Middle Easterns, and even Russians, halal doesnāt strictly need to be viewed only as a religious perception, Ā but as a cultural one. Ā I just had to let the world out there know what they are missing from this one-sided perception of āhalalā food.
